Ken Mathis recently wrote a white paper asking the question, when you receive a new contract or agreement from a service provider, what is your first thought? “I trust them, I’ll sign this immediately.” Or, “Even if I read it, I won’t understand it since it has a lot of legalese.” Or, “I’ll sign it and if there’s a problem, we’ll just cancel or renegotiate.” The question you should ask yourself is: “Does this agreement agree with my fiduciary responsibilities?”
